This comprehensive study utilizes GIS software alongside publicly available information, member demographics, and transaction trends, It integrates a multi-criteria optimization model with a nonparametric forecasting model in a two-phase analysis. This approach illustrates a flexible, data-driven strategy to determine optimal branch locations for Addition Financial Credit Union’s expansion. The model successfully recommends four suitable site locations that align with growth objectives and reflect a nuanced understanding of market dynamics. The recommendations led to actionable insights that were ultimately leveraged by C-suite executives to advance the expansion strategies for Addition Financial Credit Union.
